Please encourage your Eagle to do their best and get plenty of rest on testing days!

Student Spotlight: Lennysmar in 3rd Grade

We are so excited to celebrate Lennysmar as our Star Student! Lennysmar is new to Ellis Elementary this year, and she has done an amazing job adjusting to her new school and classroom. From the very beginning, she has shown a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.

Lennysmar has made great growth in both math and reading this year. She works hard, tries her best, and doesn’t give up when learning feels challenging. Her effort and determination are truly paying off, and we are so proud of the progress she has made.

In addition to her academic success, Lennysmar is a wonderful friend and a fun classmate. She is kind, respectful, and always willing to help others. Her positive energy and friendly nature make our classroom a happier place.

We are so lucky to have Lennysmar at Ellis Elementary. Keep up the fantastic work; we are excited to see all the great things you will continue to accomplish!

Staff Spotlight: Ms. Emily Yoder-Horst

Ms. Yoder-Horst has been a proud Ellis Eagle for 11 years!  For nine years, she taught English Language Development, and recently, she has transitioned to being a Special Education teacher. She feels lucky to be working with amazing students and a great team, and the Ellis community feels the same way! In both roles, her students and fellow staff members can see the positive impact she has on our Eagles.

Over the summer, she loves exploring the outdoors through camping with her family. This past summer, Ms. Yoder-Horst and her family visited seven national parks in Utah, Colorado and Arizona!

Thank you for all you do!
