Colorado Weather and Attendance:
We know that Colorado can have some very unpredictable weather. Even when it is raining or snowing, we still want students at school! If you are having difficulty getting to school when the weather changes, just call us and let us know when we can expect you!
Eye Love at Cowell:
We are pleased to announce that Eye Love Care, a local Optometry Eye Practice, will be visiting our school on October 8th, 9th, 10th! During their visit, they will conduct comprehensive eye exams and provide glasses to students who register, all conveniently within your school premises at no out of pocket cost!
October Count:
Next Wednesday, October 1st is a VERY IMPORTANT DAY for us! This is our October count day! We need EVERYONE here. On October count, the state looks at our attendance number and that determines the funding we receive to best support your students.
We will also be giving our K-5 students Cowell t-shirts and $20 PRIDE points on this day!
Reminder: Lunch brought from home
Due to being extremely short-staffed, if your student is bringing lunch from home, they must bring their lunch with them when they are getting dropped off in the morning. If you need to drop it off, you must arrive at their scheduled lunchtime, sign in, and wait in the main office or cafeteria to give it directly to your student.

Please keep your phone number and email up to date to receive our text messages and emails. You can do so by stopping by in the office or logging into your parent portal account.
