Volunteers and Chaperones:
Please follow the link for step-by-step instructions on how to submit your volunteer application in order to volunteer and chaperone at Cowell, including upcoming field trips. Once your application is complete, the teacher will be able to confirm if you are approved.
On the day of the event, you will always need to bring a physical ID card or driver’s license to obtain a visitor pass.
Attendance:
Families of Cowell, we need your help! We strive to see every student here as much as possible. Every day of learning helps each student succeed numerous goals and social skills.
We are currently averaging 88% daily attendance for the entire school - help us achieve our goal of 93% attendance EVERY DAY!

DPS App:
We are in need of all parents downloading the DPS app below in order to communicate with families. All DPS families will use the same app to streamline communication.
At the end of September the class with the highest amount of families on the app will win a pizza party!
The classroom with the most Guardian sign ups on the DPS app will win a PIZZA PARTY!!
As of Friday at 3:30pm Ms. Bell's class is in 1st place! remember you have until the end of the month to help your student's class win!

Per the Parent/Student Handbook: If you are picking up your student before dismissal, an authorized adult must come into the building to sign them out. If you need to add an adult please call the office. We will no longer allow older siblings under the age of 18 to pick up students for early pick up. This policy is for the safety of all students and has been outlined in the handbook for several years.
