TJ Families,

What a great start to the year. Thank you to the staff, students, and community for this strong start.

Please remember:

- Doors open at 7:50 a.m. for breakfast every day. Students can head to class starting at 8:10 a.m. as teachers are in meetings from 7:30-8:10 each day.

- School starts at 8:20 a.m. every day, so please plan to have your students here by 8:00 a.m. so that they are on time to their first period class. Traffic can be bad in the mornings, so please plan accordingly.

- 93% is our goal for attendance - excused AND unexcused absences count towards your students overall attendance rate.

- All students are expected to have their phones off and in their backpacks. If there is an emergency and you need to reach your student, please call the school at 720-423-7000 and we will get the message to your student as soon as possible.

And lastly, thanks so much to the Seniors, Senior Parents, and Class Sponsors for welcoming the freshmen in style Monday morning. It was great to see.

Remember to save the date for Back To School Night: September 9th from 6-8 p.m.

Have a great week!

Welcome Back class of 2029 - Cheers to Sophomore Year!

Last school year was full of new beginnings as our kids started at TJ, made new friends, explored activities, and found their place—and we began our role as Class Sponsors for the Class of 2029. We supported class activities, celebrated our teachers and most importantly kicked off our fundraising efforts with much success. Every fundraiser helped us learn and build toward our goal of providing a fun, memorable After Prom that is free for every student. Please consider donating $29 for the Class of 2029.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered, participated, purchased, donated, shared our events, or supported us in any way! Every contribution makes a difference and brings us closer to our After Prom goal. We’re excited for the 2026/27 school year and more opportunities to bring students and parents together, support TJ, give back to our community, and keep building that After Prom fund. One year down, three to go—Class of 2029, we’re on our way!
