Dear Teller Families,
Since Mother Nature seems determined to keep summer around, please make sure your child comes to school each day with a water bottle filled with fresh water. Our building is not air-conditioned (we are finally getting AC next summer!), so when it is hot outside, it is hot inside as well. We are seeing more students arrive without water bottles, and we want to make sure everyone stays hydrated and comfortable throughout the day.
As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, October 12. We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, October 13. Please take a minute to read through this week’s PRIDE Post for important information about the upcoming week and beyond. Best,
Sabrina Bates, Principal |

Perks: Coffee & Bagels and Community! For our first session, we will dive into DIBELS testing—a new assessment that all Teller students have recently completed. Questions we’ll cover:
What is DIBELS testing, and why is it used? How are your child's literacy skills measured? What do your child's specific scores mean? How can you support reading growth at home?
At the end of the presentation, we will spend some time getting to know our new Assistant Principal, Miranda Obo, and leave the floor open for a general Q&A session! Whether you're eager to understand your student's scores, meet AP Obo, or simply connect with other Teller families, all are welcome! We look forward to seeing you there.

How do your students handle overcoming obstacles? Would you like to strengthen their belief in their ability to handle difficult tasks? Parkour is a mental and physical movement practice that teaches how to adapt to one's environment through creativity and practice, and we'd love to have you try it out!
At APEX Denver, we have over 20 years of teaching parkour to tots, kids, teens, adults, and seniors. We focus on fundamentals of parkour, such as landing, jumping, and vaulting through instruction with our nationally recognized coaches. We'd love to have you and your kids moving around in our space for field trips, parties, or afterschool events!
Give us a call (720) 759-2119 or email us (john@apexdenver.com) to inquire what we can do for you. |
