Access comprehensive DPS online registration details here.

All DPS families are encouraged to complete a You Benefit! form to receive other benefits, including fee waivers, P-EBT, and to maximize funding for the district and for additional funding for your child’s school.

Important Updates - Please review the new Personal communication device policy
Beginning with the 2026-27 school year, Denver Public Schools has adopted a policy that limits when students can use their personal communication devices (such as cellphones).

Parking Permit - To secure a parking permit for the 2026-2027 school year, please submit this registration. All vehicles parked on campus must display a visible hang tag to facilitate owner identification in the event of an emergency or if a vehicle must be relocated. Cars lacking registration with South will be issued a warning sticker by security.

Schedule Information and Senior Meetings

In preparation for the first day of classes on Monday, August 24th (9th grade only) and August 25th (all grades), you will be able to access your class schedules in the Student Portal starting August 11th.  Here is the link to the Student Portal which you access with your ID number and your 8-digit birthday:

https://myportal.dpsk12.org/

It is important that you review your classes for accuracy prior to the first day of school. Please check that you have all of the core classes needed to stay on track for graduation.  In addition, 9th and 10th grade students must have a full schedule of 7 classes.  11th grade students who are on-track may have 1 off period.  12th grade students who are on-track may have up to 2 off periods.

Only if your schedule is incorrect, please complete the Schedule Correction Form at this link (will be active beginning August 10, 2026). Schedule corrections may not be requested by phone or email.  The last day to request schedule corrections is Friday, August 21.  Schedule corrections will be made for things like being placed into the wrong level of a class, not for when a student has changed their mind, wants a different teacher, or wants to be in a class with a friend.  There will be no student initiated schedule changes once classes begin on Monday, August 24th.

IMPORTANT:  ALL STUDENTS IN THE CLASS OF 2027 MUST SCHEDULE A SENIOR MEETING WITH THEIR COUNSELOR AT THIS LINK.  This is a 20-30 minute meeting with the student, parent/guardian, and Counselor to review credits, graduation requirements, class schedule, and post-secondary plans.  These meetings will take place in person or virtually (based on your preference) starting on Tuesday, August 11th.

We really appreciate your patience and thoughtfulness as we take steps toward what is going to be a fantastic return to school on Monday, August 24th!
