A Note From Our PTA President

Dear Westerly Families,

We're doing it! As we reach the two-month mark, our Wolfpack has already raised 21.2% of our annual fundraising goal. This is YOUR success, and together, we're proving what's possible when a community runs as one pack.

Let's Howl About Our Wins! From Comedy Night to Oktoberfest, Book It to the Creek to Wolfpack Pledging - your commitment is creating real momentum for our students.

Sponsorships are surging! We've revamped our sponsorship packages with options for businesses of all sizes. Share our new sponsorship packages with a business owner you know this week - it takes just five minutes and could make a massive impact for our students.

With record numbers registered and climbing for our signature annual event “An Evening in Bloom”, this is shaping up to be our biggest fundraising night in WCE history!

If you're attending, get ready for an unforgettable evening: amazing food and drinks, fantastic company, and the chance to make a real difference for OUR STUDENTS. Let's bust through and break a fundraising record together!

The bottom line: Every single dollar raised goes directly to supporting your child's foundational education experience. This is where we come together as a pack and make the biggest impact of the year.

Looking Ahead: We Heard You, and We're Taking Action
You asked for better communication, transparency, and collaboration, and we're working on delivering. We want to dedicate more resources building these bridges and ensuring seamless coordination between teachers, parents, administration, and PTA, but need your help to make it happen!

Much like a pack of wolves, each member has their own role, and when we work in sync, we provide the very best for our pups.

Here's what makes this possible: When we exceed our fundraising expectations, we can go the extra mile - investing in both the infrastructure that keeps us connected AND the programs that fuel our students' academic growth. Every action you take brings us closer to our goal.

School Psychologist Week: Please join us in recognizing and thanking our School Psychologist, Larissa Ausdenmoore, and our Psych Intern, Kayla Mendez for the amazing work they do with our students. Larissa and Kayla, we are so very fortunate to have you both at WCE!
WOW!! Thank you so much for participating in Bike, Walk & Roll to school last week! We had 150 bikes and scooters on campus (last October we had 101) and thank you to all of you who walked, carpooled or took the bus! Every little bit helps. And we’re so happy to see our community thinking about the environment.

Thanksgiving Food Pantry Donations

Staff Thanksgiving Platters

The PTA is organizing the annual Thanksgiving platters for WCE staff!

We are, again, working with local, WCE-affiliated businesses for this event. The platters include a charcuterie box, created by the amazing So Damn Gouda and Sweet Addiction Toffee, and a bottle of wine, selected by our friends at Mayfair Liquors.

Help us show WCE staff our deep gratitude for everything they do for our students! Sponsor a Thanksgiving platter or bottle of wine for a staff member. (Each $25 provides a platter or a bottle of wine).

Donate by 11/14. Platters will be distributed the week before Thanksgiving break!

northfield entrepreneurship youth fair 11/15 10-3pm

NHS DECA’s 2nd Annual Youth Entrepreneurship Fair will take place on November 15 from 10AM-3PM.

This exciting event is designed to showcase local businesses, student entrepreneurs, and community talent. It’s a fantastic opportunity for vendors to promote their products or services, connect with the community, and gain valuable exposure. We invite businesses of all sizes to participate in this year’s fair, but spaces are limited, so act fast!
