A Note From Our PTA President

Dear WCE Families,

As we head into Thanksgiving week, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

This fall has been something special. From Wolf Den Welcome to Comedy Night to Oktoberfest to our incredible Evening in Bloom Auction at the Botanic Gardens, we've watched our community come alive in ways that remind us why Westerly Creek is such an extraordinary place.

Thank you for showing up. For volunteering your time. For contributing your resources. For introducing yourselves to new families and welcoming them into our pack. For trusting us with your children and partnering with us to make this school year meaningful.

The energy, generosity, and heart you've brought to WCE this fall has made all the difference. Our kids see it. Our teachers feel it. And it's creating exactly the kind of community we hoped for when we talked about a fresh start.

As we gather with our own families this week, I hope you feel proud of what we've built together these past few months. Your generosity this fall has been remarkable, and we can't wait to share a fundraising update in early December so we can celebrate together how far we've come. I'm grateful to be on this journey with all of you.

Wishing you a warm and restful Thanksgiving.

Together, we are WCE.

Book Fair

Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way from Monday, December 8th to Friday, December 12th (online purchases can be made anytime between December 4-December 12)!

Our book fair will be running during the following times:

- Kick off on Friday, December 5th (during the Winter School Dance)

- Monday, December 8th - Friday, December 12th  7:45 - 8:15am & 3:15 - 5:00pm daily in the library

Scholastic E-wallet:

E-wallet allows you to safely add money into your student's account for use at the book fair.

A couple of things to note about e-wallets:

- New e-wallets need to be set up for each and every book fair.

- Any previous e-wallets that have a balance are automatically put on an e-gift card that can be seen on the left hand side of your login page under ‘My account and funds’ or ‘e-gift cards’.

- There is also an opportunity for others to add money to the E-wallet (perfect for early holiday gifts from grandparents, etc).

Online Book Fair:

If you can’t make it to the Fair, no worries! You can shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school.
