• Former Spartan Emmanuel Pregnon (class of 2020) was was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the No. 88 overall pick (Round 3) in the 2026 NFL Draft. A former Wyoming, USC, and Oregon guard, he was regarded as a high-value pick in the third round due to his experience, power as a run blocker, and ability to start at either guard spot. • Recently, AVID students took a field trip to the University of Denver. While there we were hosted by DU’s VIP program and our trip included an info session, student panel, tour, lunch at the dining hall, and a demonstration in the biomedical engineering lab. Touring colleges is one of our favorite parts of the AVID experience!

They did it again!

For the 12th year, funds were donated to Thomas Jefferson from the annual All For One Golf Tournament.  Players gather each year at the Wellshire Golf Course for a fun golf tournament while supporting our school through net proceeds.  The tournament donated $900 in October which brings the total to over $10,000 in the last 11 years.

The next tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026.  Do you have customers to host or just love to play golf? Sponsors and Golfers are invited to participate. Get more information at www.allforonegolf.org or call John at 720 232-4554

A trained Medical Assistant at the Thomas Jefferson School-based Health Center (SBHC) can administer
all the required childhood vaccines to your student. To learn more about what vaccines your student
needs, ask the school nurse, or an SBHC clinic staff member.

IT'S SHOE DRIVE SATURDAY!
We know you’ve been collecting your old shoes for the shoe drive. Bring them by TJ this Saturday, May 9 between 10am & 1pm to drop them off. This is a great way to clean out your
closet and help fundraise for the Class of 2028.

We’re still hoping to get a few more volunteers for this Saturday to help us collect, pair and bag up the shoes. Volunteer through this link.

And don’t forget to tell your neighbors, co-workers and anyone else about the shoe drive. Anyone can donate.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK – SOPHOMORE SANDWICH BAR
The Class of 2028 will be providing a sandwich bar for teachers on Friday, May 8 as part of Teacher Appreciation Week. Sign-up here to help celebrate our teachers by donating food or helping with the event (10:45 setup).

Donations that you sign-up for can be dropped off outside TJ (drop-off lane by the Spartan sign) Friday morning. Got shoes to donate? Bring them then and get it all done in one trip.

HELP OUT WITH A ONE-TIME OR RECURRING DONATION
We have raised about $6,000 for class activities and After Prom, but it’s going to take at least double that to make the next two years memorable. Follow this link to set up a recurring donation of just $5-$10 a month. One-time donations are also accepted.
