  • We're excited to share that Thomas Jefferson High School has earned Gold recognition on the 2025 AP School Honor Roll from the College Board.

This recognition reflects strong performance across key AP success measures:

    • College Culture: 75% of graduating seniors took at least one AP exam

    • College Credit: 47% of graduates earned a qualifying AP score (3+)

    • College Optimization: 22% of students completed five or more AP exams, including at least one taken in 9th or 10th grade

Earning Gold status highlights the intentional work of your teachers and leadership in expanding AP access, using AP coursework and college credit as a tool to support post-secondary attainment, and thoughtfully guiding students through rigorous AP pathways.

Congratulations for opening doors and strengthening college readiness for TJ students.

  • TJHS Unified Basketball with Student Leadership participated in the Gold Crown Tournament.

STRAWBERRIES, TOMATOES, HERBS – OH MY!
The temperature may have cooled off, but that means you’ve got more time to spend inside planning your summer garden. The Class of 2028 Flower Power website currently features delicious strawberries, hanging cherry tomato plants, spring flowers and more. You can even buy a seed pack that has everything you need to grow your own salsa. Click on over to the site to check it out.

THE GIFT OF TIME
Do you have an hour or two to help the Class of 2028 every month or two? We’re in need of more bodies to help with spring events and fundraising. Drop us a line to let us know you’re interested and then we’ll find time for a quick group meeting to get started. Email jillkrug@gmail.com and/or kevkrug@gmail.com.

HELP OUT WITH A ONE-TIME OR RECURRING DONATION
We’ve got a long way to go to raise the money needed to help put on an amazing after-prom party for the Class of 2028 in two years (yes, just two years away!). You can give at any time, but it’s also easy to set up a quick recurring donation. You can donate just a few dollars a month and know that you are helping create one of the most memorable events of your student’s high school career. Follow this link to set up a recurring
donation. One-time donations are also accepted -- $28 for the Class of 28 is a good place to start.

Remember, all money raised by these events and donations will help fund an amazing after-prom event during the students’ senior year and a fun event at the end of each school year.

2029

It's time to give $29 to the Class of '29

Give $29 to the Class of '29 and help cultivate community for our students!
