TJ Parents,
We are excited to share that TJHS has chosen to participate in the CCS Student Profile Report Project in partnership with DPS’ Career and College Success team to provide a personalized resource to support our students as they explore and navigate their post-secondary career journey. We are here to guide your student through their career exploration journey and hope that in reviewing the profile, your student is inspired to take specific actions including exploring different courses, clubs, and career exploration programs.
What is the profile?
CCS profile is a personalized report with details about your student’s career + college success journey including your interests, participation in courses and career experiences, and opportunities for the future.
How do I see my student’s profile?
From parent portal, click More → Academic Pages → Career & College Success Reports
From student portal, click My ICAP Plan → Student Profile Report
What do I do with the profile?
Use it to engage in conversation with your child about their career exploration! Potential questions to discuss:
What stood out to you in the profile?
What are industries and/or careers of interest and what can you do to prepare for that career now?
What are specific next steps you might take in the next semester/school year to continue exploring different careers/industries?
Questions? Reach out to your child’s counselor.
Don't forget - there is a special finals schedule next week. See below for the daily schedule. All students are required to attend each final. Mr. Christoff must approve any student missing their finals.

Congrats Adelaide and Jonathan! Your food truck wrap will be going into production this month.
Our two runner ups were Lea Gentry at North and Kyra Ensafian at Thomas Jefferson. Congratulations to all of your students for their hard work. We look forward to seeing more of their outstanding projects in the months to come!

TJ PTO Launches Fundraising Campaign
Introducing the Spartan Grant Drive! TJ PTO has launched this online fundraising campaign that will support the very important TJ Spartan Grant program. Every year our TJ Staff has the opportunity to request funds from the PTO in a variety of areas including classroom needs, club/student activities support and social support services. The purpose of our fundraising campaign is to fund the Spartan Grant Program so that our school can receive financial support where it is needed most. Any donation amount is welcome and appreciated. Our goal is to raise $20,000. To read more and donate, visit TJ Spartan Grant Drive. Please consider sharing with family and friends.

Hello Class of 2028 parents and families! The class of 2028 needs 1-2 parents to be co-chairs and lead the planning of fundraising and social events. Each class is expected to raise the money needed to host their After Prom and other activities senior year. The sooner the fundraising gets started, the more choices there will be for events senior year. Parent sponsors also plan community building activities for the parents of the class of 2028. We are successful because of your behind-the-scenes contributions, large and small. It all adds up to a stronger community. An engaged parent body shows our students that we care about them!
If you need more information, contact tjhspto@gmail.com.
It's time to give $28 to the Class of '28
