The Martin Luther King, Jr. Marade will take place on Monday, Jan. 20 to honor civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy. This annual event combines a march and a parade, celebrating victories achieved in combating injustices and marching non-violently to confront injustices in the future. The purpose of the holiday is to unify and educate communities. The MLK Youth Education Committee will host a Youth Talent Show on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Community College of Aurora. They will also host the MLK Bike Ride on Monday, Jan. 20 from 2-4 p.m.
The first 20 DPS team members to sign up will receive a 41st MLK Anniversary T-shirt as a token of appreciation! All volunteers will receive detailed information about the Marade next week. Sign up at this link.
DoTS has been notified by WorkForce that there is an issue for users with the mobile app on Apple devices running iOS 18.2. The calendar view displays incorrect dates for each month, which is impacting its usability.
This issue is caused by a broader web-related problem introduced with the iOS 18.2 update. This issue is not exclusive to the WorkForce app and other applications may also be affected.
To avoid any disruptions, DoTS strongly recommends that you do not update to iOS 18.2 until this issue has been resolved. This issue is a priority and additional information will be provided when available.
