Top Five Things You Need to Know

Welcome back, Team DPS! We hope everyone had a great summer break and are settling in during this exciting first week of school. Below are the top five things you need to know coming into the 2024-25 school year. Plus, access additional resources and information to learn more about what's new in DPS.

ICYMI: DPS Has Switched to a New Messaging Platform

Denver Public Schools has switched to a new messaging platform! District text messages will now come from 98900. Phone calls will come from 720-423-3000 or the school's front office phone number. Emails will come from a DPSK12.org email address.

All MailChimp, SchoolMessenger and Constant Contact accounts have been deactivated. If you have not received training on Thrillshare Alerts (SchoolMessenger replacement), and if needed, Thrillshare Engage (Constant Contact and MailChimp replacement), contact Jacob Turner to set up a training session. If you have received training and want to grow your understanding of our new platform, explore Thrillshare’s knowledge base materials.

2024-25 District Map Now Available

Find school addresses and locations across DPS using the new 2024-25 District Map! The map is now available in a downloadable PDF and an interactive web version on the SchoolChoice website.

A limited number of printed copies will be available soon. If you'd like to request printed copies of the district map, complete this form.

Update to Eight Most Spoken Languages

There has been an update on the eight most common languages spoken by Denver Public Schools families. The most spoken languages are as follows: Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, Amharic, French, Somali, Nepali and Dari (labeled as Persian on the DPS website). Please note that Chinese is no longer part of the eight most common languages in DPS for the 2024-25 school year. To request an interpretation or translation, visit DoTS Help.
