Summer break is coming to an end and to help us reground ourselves in the important work we do at Denver Public Schools, the Culture, Equity and Leadership Team (CELT) welcomes all members of Team DPS to participate in two back-to-school events!

Reaffirming Our Shared Core Values Day: Monday, Aug. 12

Be on the look-out next Monday, Aug. 12 for the One Team DPS: Reaffirming Our Shared Core Values welcome video. This welcome video will highlight our DPS Strategic Roadmap, districtwide celebrations and an update on how we have revised our Shared Core Values definitions and behaviors. We look forward to approaching this school year with energy and excitement to help strengthen our organizational culture and connections to one another.

All teams are asked to watch the video together on Monday and use this opportunity to share what they're most excited about this school year, discuss how their daily work connects to the Strategic Roadmap and identify a Shared Core Value to commit to living each day. Additional resources focused on living our Shared Core Values will be shared on Tuesday, Aug. 13. 

Back to School at the Denver Zoo: Tuesday, Aug. 13

Join us for the DPS Back to School at the Denver Zoo event on Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The Denver Zoo’s maximum capacity is 5,000, therefore tickets will be first-come, first served. Those who attend will be given three free tickets, and additional tickets can be purchased for $12 each. Click here to reserve your tickets today.
