DPS Nursing Services and Health Education Takes the Front Line

The wellness team poses together in their green scrubs at the Hilltop Health Fair

On Dec. 6, the DPS Nursing Services team and the Employee Wellness Department provided support and access to preventive health at the Hilltop Terminal Employee Health Fair. Emily Griffith Technical College Practical Nursing students obtained clinical hours through hands-on experience and made a direct impact on our DPS community. As a result, DPS team members received blood pressure screenings and additional health resources and information from representatives of our various partners in healthcare.
