The DPS Women of Color Belong Group (WOC) is a supportive network and sisterhood of professional women who are equally committed to the empowerment, development, collaboration and comradery of one another.
WOC offers several events throughout the year, both virtual and in-person, that provide a space of belonging in mental, social/emotional, financial, physical and cultural spaces.

Reach One Mentoring is now accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year! If you are a new or returning educator in DPS, you are invited to join or continue in the Reach One Mentoring (ROM) Program. This initiative is designed for experienced team members of color to provide mentoring support for mentees in the Black, Indigenous and People of Color communities within DPS. The program will help to enrich your DPS career in a confidential space by focusing on:
Personal and professional development.
Sharpening skills and knowledge.
Collegial relationships of trust.
Apply to be a mentor or mentee now. Complete this form if you are returning as a mentor or mentee.
The Exceptional Student Service (ESS) Special Education Department is excited to announce universal support that is being offered throughout the school year. These supports will include
Special Education Monthly Department Meetings.
Center Program Learning Cohorts (AN and MI).
Mild Moderate New Teacher Cohort.
Paraprofessional Support and Training.
Inclusive Practices Asynchronous Training.

Question. Persuade. and Refer. (QPR) training can now be accessed by all DPS departments and school communities. QPR is a gatekeeper training on the topic of suicide prevention. The one-hour training teaches the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond. Contact Ron Glazier or Rasheeda Ouedraogo to request access to training. All training is free!
