Living Our Shared Core Values

Dear Educators,

As you prepare for a well-deserved break, please know how important your efforts are in creating a learning environment where Every Learner Thrives. I am profoundly thankful for your dedication to our students, families and communities.

As we continue to navigate changes, your role in shaping a more just and equitable world through education is more crucial than ever.

Thank you for all you do and for nominating DPS Principals for living our Shared Core Values. We were thrilled to honor the winners at our Principal Quarterly yesterday:

  • Students First - Cesar Sanchez, DCIS Fairmont

  • Equity - Nestor Bravo, Abraham Lincoln HS

  • Integrity - Dr. Johanna Strong, KCAA

  • Collaboration - Cristhina Shaikh, Munroe Elementary

  • Accountability - Megan Bohanan, Grant Ranch

  • Fun - Neisa Lynch, Montbello HS

May the upcoming break and Thanksgiving holiday provide you with a moment to rest, recharge and reflect on the positive impact you make every day.

Respectfully,

Dr. Tony Smith
Deputy Superintendent

Reminders and Resources for the Transition from Infor HR to Oracle

Some Human Resources and Payroll tasks will be temporarily unavailable as we transition from Infor HR and Lawson to the cloud-based software, Oracle. Employees will not be able to update their direct deposit, personal information, or W-4 withholding between Wednesday, Nov. 27-Dec. 15. Most procedures will resume on Dec. 16. See the key dates calendar for support completing these actions and more during the transition.

Recruiting and Hiring Updates:

  • The external job board will not go down.

    • External candidates can continue applying via careers.dpsk12.org and clicking on apply now.

  • Internal candidates will not be able to access the external job board.

    • There will be a message on the internal job board with a link to InterviewStream where candidates can submit their resume and indicate the position they are interested in.

Please note: If critical operational transactions such as transfers, terminations, or new hires, occur between Nov. 27-Dec. 15, changes in reporting structures may cause issues with approval routing for expense reports, PCards, requisitions and invoices. These routing issues are expected to be resolved by Dec. 16. If you need assistance with rerouting a pending PCard report to the correct approver, please email PCardSupport@dpsk12.org.

For more information, please visit the New Employee Space page on The Commons. If you have any questions, please speak with your supervisor, email HR_Connect@dpsk12.org or call 720-423-3900.
