Champion Season is Here!

Dear Educators,

As we return from spring break, refreshed and recharged, we're entering our championship season! We’ve trained all year for this big moment, and it’s time for our students to showcase all the knowledge and skills they've acquired. Let's approach CMAS testing with confidence, determination and pride in our collective journey of growth.

With summer on the horizon, we're thrilled to share an incredible opportunity for our youth to continue learning through community partnerships, growing their pursuit of passion and earning this summer through the Mayor's Youth Works Initiative. Students ages 14-21 can explore a variety of high-wage, high-growth career paths, earning an additional $500 bonus for working 100+ hours between Monday, April 1 and August 15. Interested students can attend in-person or virtual job fairs.

As we gear up for CMAS and look ahead to summer opportunities, remember: every challenge is a chance to shine. Let's make these final months of the school year truly count!

Respectfully,

Dr. Tony Smith
Deputy Superintendent
