Hello team,
We are writing to provide you with an update on the exciting transition from Infor HR to Oracle.
Our goal is to ensure we minimize negative impacts to recruitment efforts across the district and that we continue to build high-quality candidate pools for our schools and departments. We understand the anxiety of having to hold transactions between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15. However, in order to have a successful transition, we have to bring the system down to convert data from Infor HR to Oracle, train our users and prepare for the new system.
We have updated some of our guidance to ensure a successful transition over the next month. Please see below and feel free to contact your Talent Acquisition Specialist with any questions or concerns.
Updates and Key Dates
The external job board will not go down.
External candidates can continue applying via careers.dpsk12.org and clicking on apply now.
Internal candidates will not be able to access the external job board.
There will be a message on the internal job board with a link to InterviewStream where candidates can submit their resume and indicate the position they are interested in.
Nov. 21 is the last day for someone to have completed all steps of the hiring process and be entered in Infor for a start date before Nov. 26. We cannot have anyone start a new position, internal or external hire between Nov. 27 and Dec 16.
We will be able to accept and post new requisitions through Friday, Nov. 22 before we lose access to the system Nov. 26.
Requisitions need to be 100% complete and accurate in order for us to make this deadline.
Requisitions after Nov. 26 will need to be submitted in Oracle starting Dec. 16.
We cannot guarantee candidates who are moved to qualify after Nov. 15 can complete the hiring process in time for a start date prior to Nov. 27. Candidates moved to qualify will receive communication about limited pre-boarding activities or be asked to hold until we are active in the new system.
Dec. 2-6: Talent Acquisition Specialists and Associates will be validating data being converted from Infor HR to Oracle, training on the new system, and preparing to support leaders when the system goes live on Dec. 16.
Limited Onboarding transactions will be done manually for high-priority hires that need to have a December or early January start date.

Important Notes:
Candidates will be converted from Infor HR to Oracle. They will not have to redo their applications or steps of the onboarding process.
Candidates who apply via InterviewStream or on the job board from Nov. 27 until Dec. 15 will be converted to Oracle as soon as the TA Specialists are able to work in the new system.
Some onboarding functions will continue to keep our candidates engaged.
Leaders can expect an email on Dec. 6 regarding training for you and your proxy will be coming. Standby for additional communications as it relates to your training.
