Walk 'N Roll to School with Swansea on October 8 at 7:30

All students (and guardians!) are invited to join us for a PARTY before school on Wednesday, October 8 at 7:30 a.m. for Walk 'N Roll to School Day!

Meet us in the parking lot of the Swansea Recreation Center at 7:30 a.m. with your preferred set of wheels (or feet). We will have hot chocolate, coffee and a sweet treat for attendees. Students can expect expect a VIP experience, complete with a red carpet and paparazzi photos. Before the walk/ride to school begins, students in attendance will be entered to win prizes like bike locks, scooters and bikes (helmets included)! Following this party, students and teachers will then ride and walk to school together! We hope you can join!

(Second Grade Guardians: This is a great opportunity for second grade students to use their new bikes from Wish for Wheels!)

Route begins at the Swansea Recreation Center Parking lot and ends at Swansea Elementary School.

Trunk or Treat

Save the date! This year's Trunk or Treat Event will be on October 30. More details will be provided next week!

BESS Social-Emotional Screening Updates

This is a friendly reminder to complete your child’s social emotional and behavioral screener, the BESS. Our fall screening window is open through October 31st. You may review the BESS Overview for Parents/Guardians document to learn more about the BESS and universal social emotional and behavioral screening in DPS this year. Please complete your student’s screener today at: tinyurl.com/bessparent.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are underway! Please connect with your student's teacher to arrange your meeting. If you have multiple students attending Swansea, please let your students' teachers know.

Fiesta Hispana Recap

Thank you for coming to celebrate with us at Fiesta Hispana! We are so proud of our student performers, and we applaud our teachers for all their work to make this event a success.
