Hello Stedman Families,
I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather this weekend! This is a short week, and our focus remains on strong instruction and celebrating our amazing students for exhibiting our KNIGHT Life Values.
This week, we continue to highlight the value of Noble Character — showing kindness, integrity, and respect for others, even when no one is watching. Outside of school, students can show Noble Character by helping a neighbor, being honest with friends and family, standing up for what’s right, or showing gratitude to those who care for them. These small actions reflect the heart of who we are as KNIGHTS—leaders with purpose and compassion.
A huge thank you to all of the students, staff, families, and community members who joined us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. It was beautiful to see our community come together in unity to honor the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions that make Stedman such a vibrant and special place.
As we look ahead, please remember that our Fall Parade and Fall Festival will be held on Thursday, October 30th—more details can be found in this newsletter. There will be no school for students on Friday, October 31st, as this is a Teacher Professional Learning Day.
Let’s continue to lead with Noble Character, celebrate one another, and find joy in the small moments this week. Have a wonderful week ahead, Stedman Knights!
With gratitude and pride,
Principal Trotter
