Steck Weekly Update

October 17, 2025

Dear Steck Families,

We hope you’re enjoying a wonderful fall week! Please take a moment to read through this week’s updates and reminders.

Principal Hiring Update
Earlier today, we sent out an important Principal Hiring Update. If you haven’t had a chance to review it yet, please check your email for the full details. We appreciate your ongoing support and engagement during this time of transition.

CaddySteck Auction – November 8th
Mark your calendars! The CaddySteck Auction is coming up on Saturday, November 8th, and it’s one of our biggest events of the year.

This is a fun-filled night that directly supports Steck students and programs. The PTSA has shared all the details and sign-up information – please check their message and consider joining us or volunteering.

Field Trip Highlights – Young AmeriTowne
This week, our 4th and 5th grade students had the opportunity to attend Young AmeriTowne, where they experienced hands-on lessons about economics, citizenship, and community responsibility. They had a fantastic time and represented Steck with pride—great job, students!

Looking Ahead: Spirit Week and Halloween Celebrations
Mark your calendars for the end of the month! We’ll be celebrating our first Spirit Week from October 27–29.

Halloween Parties and Parades will take place on Thursday, October 30.

There will be no school on Friday, October 31, due to a professional learning day for teachers.

More details about Spirit Week themes and the parade schedule are listed below.

Thank you for staying connected and being a vital part of our Steck community. If you have any questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Warm regards,

Mrs. Klava

The parade will conclude at the outdoor class party locations. Parents and friends are welcome to join in the fun and watch from the blacktop area at the front of the school or the basketball court at the south side of the school. In case of inclement weather, the parade will be indoors and parents will be invited into the school auditorium.
