Hello Steck families,
We continue to see excitement and motivation surrounding our attendance challenges! We celebrated almost 260 students in February for missing 1 day or less! Wow!
We also asked teachers to "shout out" individual students for attendance at our STARS assembly! These students were recognized for a variety of reasons, including having improved attendance, asking about make-up work after an absence, being on-time everyday, etc!
Students who miss 1 day or less in the month of March will receive a March Attendance certificate and a funky star eraser cap! Teachers are on the lookout for other students to shout-out at our assembly in April. Being on time, improving attendance, being responsible for make-up work are just some of the things that might earn you/your child an attendance shout-out!
We are again competing as Homeroom Classes to reach the highest overall attendance percentage. The winning class will have a frozen dessert picnic and play time! The winning class will be announced during our Steck Stars assembly on April 6th!
Our teachers have also been challenged to improve attendance. Last month, we celebrated Ms. Kronen and Ms. Brooke!
