Responsive Arts & STEAM Academy FNE (RASA)
Dear RASA Families,
As we head into the holiday season, we want to share a few important reminders and updates to help our school community stay informed and safe. Please take a moment to review the following items and mark your calendars!
There will be no school next week, November 25–29. We hope this time allows your family to relax, reconnect, and reflect on the many things to be grateful for. Classes will resume on Monday, December 2.
At RASA, your child’s safety is always our top priority. Please help us maintain a secure environment by following these safety guidelines:
Buzz-In Policy: When entering the building, each parent or visitor must press the buzzer individually. Please do not hold the door open for others, even if they appear to be a parent or community member. This helps ensure that all visitors are accounted for and authorized.
Drop-Off Zone: Please drive through the drop-off zone slowly and carefully. Watch for our crossing guard and follow their signals, especially when changing lanes after drop-off.
Timeliness Matters: A friendly reminder that school starts promptly at 8:20 AM and dismissal is at 3:50 PM. We’ve noticed an increase in tardies lately, and it’s important for students to start the day on time to set them up for success. Thank you for your cooperation!
Our Lost and Found bin is overflowing! We’ve placed the bin in the front reception room for easier access. If your child is missing jackets, water bottles, or other personal items, please take a moment to stop by and look through the bin.
Important: Any unclaimed items will be donated in December before winter break. Be sure to check before then!
Spirit Week
What a fun Spirit Week we had! Our students and staff showed their school spirit and creativity every single day. From pajama day to sports day and everything in between, our campus was buzzing with excitement.
Thank you to everyone who participated and brought energy to the week. Be sure to check out more pictures from Spirit Week on our social media!
Family Lunch Day
Thank you to all the families who joined us for Family Lunch Day this week! It was such a joy to see so many loved ones sharing a delicious meal with our students. For those who couldn’t attend, we’ll have more opportunities to connect throughout the year. Thank you for making our RASA community feel so special.
We want to ensure that all RASA families stay connected throughout the school year. Here’s how we communicate important updates:
