Happy Friday PHE:
As we enter the Fall season, we wanted to pass along a few reminders:
Please help us with attendance in the mornings. The new Campus Parent app makes it convenient to enter absences and saves the office phone calls in the morning. We always want to ensure your students are accounted for and safe.
Label all your student’s jackets, warm clothing. We try to return any lost items with names on them.
Please pay your activity fee if you have not yet done so. Students are already doing many activities outside of the building and activity funds make that possible. If you have not yet paid, you should have recently received a reminder invoice via the district’s MySchoolBucks system. Questions? Please contact Sarah in the office.
We are starting school tours later this month. If you have any friends or neighbors that are new to the district/neighborhood, please invite them to join us on a tour. Signups are on the front page of the PHE website.
Per CDC recommendations, please consider Flu and COVID boosters for your students. The viral season will be starting soon. If students are not feeling well, please be cautious and keep them home.
Finally, thanks for everyone's assistance with October Count! The attendance numbers from these dates are used by the district to support our school’s budgets.
Have a great weekend! Thanks for all your support so far this year.
-Ann, Sarah and Bret
No school October 10-14
This year’s Fall break will be October 10-14 (Thursday - Monday). We will have no school on these days. If you’re planning to be absent extra dates, please let the office and your teacher know.
Individual Photo Retake Day
Lifetouch will return to do any retakes for students on the morning of October 22. If you were not satisfied with the original photos for your student or you missed the original picture day, your student can get their photo updated on that morning. Please bring in your old pictures if you would like them replaced. There is no fee for the retakes.
Reminder: Middle School Tours (5th Grade families)
Some schools have already started middle school tours. Here’s a list of commonly attended middle schools for PHE 5th graders to consider. This is by no means comprehensive though so please do your research!
