Happy Friday PHE Families
Students and staff had so much fun with Halloween costumes and the parade. We had the full spectrum of fairy princesses to spooky and scary monsters. The creativity is so fun to see! Thanks to all the families that helped out with decorating, parties, and showing up to support their students!
As I stand outside each morning on Fairfax, I watch many traffic jams occur, and I think we can avoid these. I strongly recommend all drop-offs using the Kiss and Drop lane on Elm. It is quick and easy, and our 5th graders do a great job leading this program. If you are heading north on Fairfax each morning, why not just go one block over to Elm, head north and use the Kiss and Drop lane. It is the same direction you are already going and would avoid congestion on a very narrow Fairfax street. Let's work together to keep this simple and keep it safe for students and families.
Daylight savings time switch occurs on Sunday. Make sure to update your alarm clocks!
Have a great weekend.
