Each year from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, we honor the many accomplishments, cultures, histories and contributions of Latine people during Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM). This HHM, we want to provide more information about DPS’ Latine Student Success (LSS) team and the Latine Education Advisory Council (LEAC). These teams aim to enhance the overall experience, fostering academic success, personal growth and self-actualization within our Latine communities. Learn about each team’s mission and current scope of work.

This event is specifically designed to ensure that every student, regardless of ability, can participate in adapted activities like biking, fencing, tennis and soccer. This is possible thanks to our incredible community partners and DPS staff volunteers. Watch the event recap here!
