Honoring Tradition: Northfield High's Indian Market
Students from Northfield High School’s Native Culture Club brought the community together by hosting an Indian Market. The event celebrated culture with traditional performances, local vendors and delicious fry bread.

Belouga Native American Heritage Month Content
Belouga is celebrating Native American Heritage Month with video lessons like “She Carries It Forward.” This documentary and learning experience is a tribute to indigenous women, an exploration of Native American culture and a celebration of a woman's journey from her roots to the world stage. This lesson has received incredible feedback from classrooms as it brings together numerous topics in the education world.

The DPS District Accountability Committee (DAC) is a group of parents, community members and staff members who provide recommendations to DPS at the district level. The DAC is pleased to announce its new quarterly newsletter, the DAC Dispatch, to keep the community informed of their work. Save the Date: Collaborative School Committee (CSC) School Budget Training
The annual Collaborative School Committee (CSC) School Budget Training will take place Jan. 7, 2025 from 5:30-7 p.m. This event allows attendees to learn about the annual school budget cycle and how CSCs provide input and recommendations to school leadership.
