As we head into the final stretch of the school year, I’ve been reflecting on just how much Northfield has grown. When I first started here, we were a much smaller school. In just four years, we’ve nearly doubled in size, and with that growth has come the need for stronger systems, deeper relationships, and a shared focus on what matters most: our students.
This year’s graduating class is the largest in our school’s history. Many of these seniors walked into the building the same year I did. Watching them grow into confident, capable young people has been a reminder of what’s possible when a school community, families, staff, and students pull in the same direction.
As Principal Resident this year, I’ve had the chance to learn from every corner of the school. I’ve continued to be impressed with how hard our staff work to support students and how much families do behind the scenes to keep things moving. The strength of this school comes from the people in it.
Let’s finish strong. Let’s keep attendance up, stay engaged, and make sure every student, especially our seniors, feels supported through the finish line. We’re close, and what we do now matters.
Thank you,
