Dear Class of 2025,
As we prepare for our commencement ceremony, we are filled with pride, gratitude, and a deep sense of admiration. Over the past four years, you have shown us what it truly means to be Nighthawks. You’ve led with integrity, lifted each other up, and brought your full selves into every space you’ve entered. Your presence here has mattered—who you are has made a difference.
Today at our graduation practice, we honored each of you with a blue ribbon—a symbol that you are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated. That ribbon isn’t just a token; it’s a reminder. A reminder that your time at Northfield has left a lasting impact. The friendships you’ve built, the moments you’ve created, and the legacy you leave behind have shaped our community in powerful ways.
You were also given a second ribbon to share with someone who made a difference in your life—a gesture that reflects the kind of community you've helped to build here: one rooted in connection, gratitude, and mutual support. These are the values that define Northfield, and they are the values you now carry with you into the world.
As you step into your next chapter, never forget that your story matters. Your voice matters. You matter. Wherever life takes you, hold on to the truth that who you are makes a difference.
Congratulations, Class of 2025. Once a Nighthawk, always a Nighthawk.
I’m going to miss you class of 2025,
Jessica Rodriguez Bracey
