Dear Class of 2025,

As we prepare for our commencement ceremony, we are filled with pride, gratitude, and a deep sense of admiration. Over the past four years, you have shown us what it truly means to be Nighthawks. You’ve led with integrity, lifted each other up, and brought your full selves into every space you’ve entered. Your presence here has mattered—who you are has made a difference.

Today at our graduation practice, we honored each of you with a blue ribbon—a symbol that you are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated. That ribbon isn’t just a token; it’s a reminder. A reminder that your time at Northfield has left a lasting impact. The friendships you’ve built, the moments you’ve created, and the legacy you leave behind have shaped our community in powerful ways.

You were also given a second ribbon to share with someone who made a difference in your life—a gesture that reflects the kind of community you've helped to build here: one rooted in connection, gratitude, and mutual support. These are the values that define Northfield, and they are the values you now carry with you into the world.

As you step into your next chapter, never forget that your story matters. Your voice matters. You matter. Wherever life takes you, hold on to the truth that who you are makes a difference.

Congratulations, Class of 2025. Once a Nighthawk, always a Nighthawk.

I’m going to miss you class of 2025,

Jessica Rodriguez Bracey
Principal, Northfield High School

🌟 Brielle Pinther Named 2025 Bobby G Rising Star!

Brielle Pinther holding her award

Brielle Pinther

Northfield student Brielle Pinther was honored as the Robert & Judi Newman Rising Star at the Bobby G High School Musical Theatre Awards on May 16 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. The award, one of the event’s highest honors, recognizes outstanding emerging talent in Colorado high school theater.

Brielle earned the award for her powerful portrayal of Eurydice in Hadestown: Teen Edition—a demanding role she brought to life with emotional depth and stage presence.

“This award proves my dedication to Eurydice’s story and confirms that performing arts is what I want to pursue,” said Brielle.

Northfield’s theater program made an impressive debut at the Bobby Gs with two nominations: Nathaniel Bicha for Outstanding Lead Performer and Brielle’s Rising Star win. Theater teacher Ms. Hanan Al-Naqeeb called the experience “a true testament to our students’ artistry, passion, and talent.”

Congratulations, Brielle—we’re so proud of you!

📣 Student Support Days – May 30 & June 2

As we wrap up the school year, Friday, May 30, and Monday, June 2 have been designated as Student Support Days.

✅ What this means:
Only students who are invited by a teacher should be on campus on these days.

🎯 Purpose:
These days are focused on reinforcing learning and essential skills. They provide time for targeted academic support to help students strengthen their understanding in key areas.

📬 If your student is invited:
They will receive direct communication from their teacher with next steps.

If you don’t hear from a teacher, your student does not need to attend school on these dates.

Thanks for helping us support every student’s success!
