As we wrap up another week at NEC, I want to shout out our Seniors, who are now in the second semester of their last year of high school! As we took our Senior Class photo this week, I've been reflecting on how how far you've come. It has been a privilege to watch each of you grow. Our newsletter is short and sweet this week - we have just a few reminders about upcoming no school days (including Monday). We will see you back at NEC on Tuesday! Don't forget, we have a 3-day weekend this weekend! There is no school Monday, January 19 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Enjoy the time off and we will see you Tuesday! |
✏️ ACCESS Testing January 27 |
Save the date! Our Multilingual Learner students will take ACCESS tests on Tuesday, January 27. Multilingual Learners and their families should have received an email with more information. All other students will have NO SCHOOL on January 27. |

The DPS Family and Community Engagement team is hosting a virtual workshop on Monday, January 26. This is a free workshop for DPS families focused on preventing substance use and learning how to talk with kids about fentanyl safety. Register here. |
