Greetings NEC Families,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Don't forget that we have a four day week this week - there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, May 1 for all NEC students. And for seniors, prom is May 1 from 7-10 p.m. at the Downtown Aquarium! To celebrate Prom week, we'll have a spirit week all week (April 27-Thursday, April 30). See below for more info!
I also want to remind you all about our Open House coming up on Thursday, May 7. All are invited! This is a great opportunity to register for the 2026-27 school year - as a reminder, all students who are attending NEC next year need to register, including returning students.

On Thursday, May 7, we will have our Open House from 4-6 p.m., with food, prizes and swag! It's not just for future students - current students and families, this event is for you! We will be providing registration support for the 2026-27 school year. Every student in every grade who is attending NEC next year needs to register. Take advantage of this opportunity to get your registration done!

Don't forget: there is NO SCHOOL for all NEC students on Friday, May 1. Friday, May 1 is also Prom Night from 7-10 p.m. at the Downtown Aquarium. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $30. Don't miss out on a night under the sea! |

12th Grade Awards Ceremony, Decision Day and Art Show: Wednesday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m.: Join us in the gym to celebrate our class of 2026! Students will receive their caps and gowns, graduation regalia and awards. Cake will be served!

9th-11th Grade Awards Ceremony and Art Show: Wednesday, May 27 at 5:30 p.m.: Join us in the gym for awards and an art show. Students who are receiving awards will be notified. Cake will be served!
