Greetings NEC Families, 

Congratulations, Wolfpack, for completing the PSAT and SAT this week! 30 students grew their scores by 75 points or more compared to the last round of testing! Thank you all for your hard work.

Our newsletter this week is short and sweet. A highlight: National Honor Society and Student Government Association are hosting a Women's Empowerment Panel next Friday, March 13. All students are welcome to attend! Learn more and sign up here (Google Form).

ALL students are invited to attend our Women's Empowerment Panel on Friday, March 13 at 11:45 a.m. in the Student Union. Join us for an inspiring panel of women leaders sharing their journeys, challenges and insights on growth and leadership.

💼 March 13: Spring 2026 Job Fair for Families

Next Friday, March 13, the Denver Public Schools Community Hubs will be hosting a job fair at Swansea Elementary School (4650 Columbine St, Denver CO 80216) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The job fair includes an interview and resume workshop, plus open time to meet with DPS recruiters and other employers from various industries. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to attend! Learn more and register here (Google Form). 

 

🎳🍕⛳ Field Trip to Boondocks for Seniors with 87% Attendance or Higher in March!

Seniors: keep your attendance up for the month of March so you can attend our Senior Field Trip! Seniors who are passing all their classes and who have 87% (or higher) attendance in March get to go to Boondocks on Friday, March 27 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

We'll get four hours of unlimited attractions, including bowling, laser tag, a ropes course with a zipline, go-karts, mini golf and bumper boats! Pizza and soda will be provided for lunch.
