First Day Details!
We look forward to welcoming our 6th grade students Monday!
We will meet on the blacktop behind Merrill starting at 8:30am. Staff will be there to hand out schedules and to greet students. Students will line up with their Advisement teachers and enter for 8:50am start time. We will do this for the first couple of days until everyone gets the hang of it!
7th graders join Wednesday and will meet on the blacktop by the Stem Lab doors. Staff will be out there directing and handing out schedules starting at 8:30am. Students will join their Advisement teachers and start their day!
8th graders will join Thursday and will meet on the 8th grade blacktop by the gym doors. Staff will be there to directing and handing out schedules starting at 8:30am. Students will join their Advisement teachers and start their day!
Families can drop off and pick up in a few areas. The parking lot on Florida between Steele and Monroe, on Iowa between Steele and Monroe and in front of the building on Monroe. Please have a plan with your student for the first day so you know where you will be meeting for pick up! We also have a bike bay behind the building for kids who want to bike.
Please avoid parking on the west side of South Monroe Street between 3:25-3:40pm so traffic doesn't get backed up and cause hazardous safety issues for people trying to wait to round the corner onto Iowa for Kiss and Go for C3!

Soccer Opportunity!
The Rapids are hosting a clinic on Monday, August 25 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. It is for kids ages 10-15 and is free. You must RSVP and there are limited spots left. Please see the attached flyer with the QR code to forward to your students and parents/guardians.
Merrill Store...Coming Soon!
The Merrill Store is designed to promote positive behavior and encourages students to make good choices. They earn Merrill Money throughout their time at school and use it to "purchase" items at the store during their recess. Items include snacks, chips, candy, sports equipment, Merrill gear, fidgets, toys, stickers and most importantly- gift cards! Look for a future Sign Up Genius to donate and volunteer or drop off any items you would like to donate in the main office. It's so fun seeing your student during the school day! We will have the store open 2 Fridays a month and hope to see you there!
