Dear McAuliffe Families,
We hope everyone enjoyed their time off during Spring Break! Next week we start CMAS testing for all grades. We recognize that many students do not enjoy taking tests, but is very important that our students participate in these assessments. We need to know what our students know, what they can do, and what gaps still exist. The best way for us to achieve these goals is to gather reliable data from students taking the CMAS exams.
Testing is also an important skill, and one that they will be asked to perform throughout their lives. Whether it's the SAT or ACT for college, the GMAT, MCAT, LSAT or other post-graduate assessments or licensing exams for trade careers, performing your best on assessments ultimately provides access to the best opportunities in life.
To help ensure success for your student, please make sure they are getting plenty of sleep, eating a healthy breakfast, and drinking plenty of water. Also, please make sure your student has their Chromebook and charger every day during testing as we do not have loaners. Lastly, as a reminder, we are not able to release students while they are testing.
If you need to refer to the CMAS testing schedule, it is included below and is also posted on our website. Thank you for your support during CMAS testing.
