A message from Principal Shelley . . .

Dear Families and Friends,

Meet Our New Mascot: Lucky the Lynx!

We're excited to announce that our school mascot finally has a name — Lucky the Lynx! Lucky was chosen to celebrate the kindness, curiosity, and bright spirit we see in every student. With quick paws, a keen mind, and a friendly heart, Lucky will cheer on our learners at assemblies, lead school‑spirit events, and remind us all to try our best and look out for one another.

A big thank‑you to the students who voted and shared name ideas. Keep an eye out for Lucky in upcoming newsletters, on spirit gear, and at our next school celebration—Lucky can't wait to meet everyone!

Congratulations 2026 Lincoln Top Spellers!

3rd - 6th grade girls - Join GIRLS on the run!

Our curriculum blends physical activity with social-emotional skill development that engages girls to manage whatever comes their way.  Trained coaches lead the girls to accomplish their goals and realize their limitless potential.  They'll gain confidence in who they are on the inside and out; learn to give and receive support; develop critical social and emotional skills; and be physically active (running, walking, skipping and even somersaulting around the field).

Lynx Experiences

Host Deadline: Extended to Fri, Feb 13!

Lynx Experiences are one of Lincoln’s most fun and community-building fundraisers! These are unique activities hosted by Lincoln families, teachers, or staff - think game nights, craft parties, cooking classes, or social gatherings.

You host it. We sell the tickets.
100% of proceeds support Lincoln programs, classrooms, and school events. This round of experiences will run March–September.

If you’ve been thinking about hosting, now’s the time! Our goal is 25 community-hosted experiences (we currently have 10). Hitting our goal of 25 Lynx Experiences could raise over $10,000 for Lincoln. No idea is too big or too small, co-hosting is encouraged, and you can work out the details later - we just need your interest. We’ll support you every step of the way.

Ready to host? Submit your experience by February 13: Host a Lynx Experience!

Questions or need help brainstorming? Email us at fundraising@mylincolnptsa.org
