In Kindergarten the students are learning how to use instruments to create sound effects to help enhance stories.
1st grade students are learning to write down rhythms that they hear in music.
2nd grade students are finishing up Musical Explorers and practicing composing their own introductions and endings.
3rd grade students are finishing up the recorder and moving on to learning the ukulele.
4th grade has reviewed ukulele and started to use those skills to play the guitar.
5th grade students are wrapping up learning to play the bass and starting their end of year Make a Band Project.
