November 24th - 28th: No school, Fall Break
|
I just wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude for this community. Given the articles and news stories that have come out regarding the potential closure of Kennedy, you all have shown nothing but support and resilience. Thank you for your dedication to our school community.
On behalf of our leadership team here at Kennedy, we wish you all a safe, restful, and joyful Thanksgiving holiday. We look forward to seeing everyone return refreshed and ready to finish the year strong.

Last night, the JFK National Honor Society welcomed our newest members during our Induction Ceremony. These 27 inductees join our close to 30 current members who demonstrate the NHS pillars of scholarship, leadership, character and service. |
Access or Donate to Local Food Resources |
As a reminder, our school meals at DPS will not be impacted. School breakfast and lunches will continue as normal and remain free to families.
JFK offers K-Mart, a place where students who need additional assistance can find a range of essentials. If you have any donations to offer for our community, please contact Dre Calloway at dre_calloway@dpsk12.net.

We understand that there are times when students need to get to school a few minutes before 8:00 am. As the weather gets colder, we invite students who arrive before 8:00 am to sit in the atrium on the East side of our building. Students can wait in the heated atrium until the building opens at 8:00 am. |
