From the Desk of Ms. D

Dear Hawks Community,

Thank you for joining us at Thanksgiving Luncheon yesterday! It was great to see so many families sharing a turkey lunch with our Hawks.

Last newsletter, I shared that we would be hosting our second annual College Week at Hallett! I have a date correction: it will be Dec. 15-19. As a reminder, College Week is not just for students - families are invited to join our financial planning workshop on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 4:30 p.m. Read on for more information and to register!

Finally, as a reminder, Fall Break is next week. There will be no school Nov. 24-28. We will see you back at Hallett on Monday, Dec. 1. Enjoy the time off and we'll see you in December!

Warmly,

Ms. D, Principal

🦃 Turkey Trot Tomorrow, Nov. 21

We're kicking off Fall Break with a Turkey Trot around Hallett at 3 p.m. tomorrow! Weather permitting, students will chase the turkey (our very own gym teacher, Mr. Joel) for one lap around the school. Families are invited to come watch - please just keep in mind that we may have to cancel due to forecasted rain.

We are celebrating the holiday season with more than just a Turkey Trot - we are also collecting canned food to donate to our local Park Hill Food Bank! Students are encouraged to bring one can of food to school tomorrow before they head out for Fall Break. We will celebrate the amount of cans collected before we start our run!
