8/22 Community Updates

From the Desk of Ms. D

Dear Hallett Families,

Happy first week of school! It has been wonderful seeing you and your students back at Hallett Academy. I want to thank you especially for joining us for our Back to School Parade on Monday. Your cheers, signs, noisemakers and bubbles filled our students with energy and enthusiasm for the 2024-25 school year. What a way to kick off the year!

As we get back into the swing of things here at Hallett, we've got plenty of reminders and updates for you all. So read on!

Warmly,

Ms. Candice DeGrafinried

Sponsor Student Planners

We hope to gift our 5th graders with planners to help them achieve academic excellence this school year! This organizational tool will help them prepare for middle school as well.

If you or your company is interested in sponsoring planners for our 5th graders, please reach out to Ms. Yvonne for more information.

Join the Collaborative School Committee

Want to have a voice in how we do things at Hallett? Join our Collaborate School Committee! This is a great opportunity to strategize with Ms. D, Hallett educators and staff and other Hallett community members on how to improve our student achievement.

The CSC will meet 4 times this year. For more information, please contact Ms. Yvonne.
