From the Desk of Ms. D

Dear Hawks Community,

Happy Halloween! I'm looking forward to celebrating with our community at our costume parade and haunted house! Don't forget to join us at Hallett at 3 p.m. along with your family and friends for some spooky fun.

In the meantime, please take a minute to fill out DPS's Your Voice/Tu Voz survey. DPS wants feedback on how to make our schools better for all students, so don't miss this opportunity to share your thoughts by filling out this quick survey.

Finally, I want to remind you all that October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Maintaining Hallett's safe and positive learning environment is my number one priority, and we take bullying very seriously. If your child is being bullied, please let me know immediately so we can address it.

Warmly,

Ms. D

Hallett Fall Festivities: Oct. 31

We'll be celebrating spooky season here at Hallett TODAY!

We will have a costume parade around Hallett from 3-3:50 p.m. Be sure to send your child to school with their Halloween costume, and join us to cheer them on in the parade! The parade will begin inside the building and then students will parade outside the building for family and friends to see.

From 4-6 p.m. we will have a haunted house, open to the entire community! Feel free to bring your family and friends to join in on the fun.

Your Voice/Tu Voz Survey

DPS wants your feedback! Help us improve DPS for all students by filling out this quick survey by tomorrow, Nov. 1. Thank you!

Restricting Visitors

In an effort to prioritize teaching and learning, beginning Nov. 1 parents/guardians/visitors will no longer be permitted to enter into the building during instructional hours. If you need to speak to your child's teacher, please email or call them to schedule an appointment. This will enable your child's teacher to provide you with their undivided attention.

Volunteers are still welcome to assist in the building, however please make sure that you also have an appointment with the teacher/department you will be supporting. The office staff will provide you with a visitor's badge upon checking you in.

Important Reminders

Attendance

We are striving for outstanding attendance where students are in school all day every day from 8:50 a.m.-3:50 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please be sure to get your student to school on time!

Night at the Museum for 3rd Grade

We're raising money to send our 3rd graders on an overnight field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science!

We are 38% of the way to our goal of $1500! Thank you so much to every who has donated and helped us spread the word.

Our 3rd graders have lots of questions about space and we want to help them get answers on this field trip. Please help us spread the word by sharing this adorable video of our 3rd graders asking questions about space.
