Dinosaur Ridge Field Trip

4th Grade ELA-E went to Dinosaur Ridge! Ms. Rosenblatt’s class took a guided tour following the footprints of Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus, hiking a trail complete with fossils of worms, beetles, birds, reptiles, and three different types of dinosaurs.

Student highlights included the location where the first T-rex tooth was found, seeing plants fossilized and imagining what life was like back then, measuring their hands next to fossils, learning about horned dinosaurs, and identifying sandstone. Throughout the day they were able to connect what they learned on the tour with what they have learned in the classroom.

Two students practice yoga at Ellis Adventure day.

Pastries with the Principal

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this past Tuesday to meet our new Principal, Mr. Anthony Muñiz! It was wonderful seeing so many friendly faces and sharing in community to kick off the day.

If you couldn't make it don't worry: we have two more opportunities for you to connect, share your thoughts, and get to know Mr. Muñiz.

  • Monday, April 27th
  • Tuesday, May 19th

We look forward to seeing you there!

Snack in the Classroom

We provide a healthy snack of fruits and vegetables for free to every Ellis student, every day.

To help our children feel their best and stay focused throughout the day, we kindly ask that only healthy snacks be sent to school. Avoiding candy and overly sugary treats during the school day support learning, energy, and overall well-being, helping every child succeed in the classroom.
