One Community, Celebrating a Season!

Way to go, Ellis Eagles! 🏀

We want to shout-out the Denver South High School cheerleaders whose sideline support brought a whole new energy to the Ellis gym and basketball game! We are so grateful for every parent, student, and our Ellis Coaches Andi Rosenblatt and Roberto Guardado who cheered us on this season.

We look forward to our next and final match! The Ellis v Ellis basketball game will be later this year.

April Eagle Awards Next Week

On Friday, April 24 we will celebrate our Ellis Eagles for their hard work in the month of April! Each classroom will award one student for Literacy, Math, English Language Development, Specials Classes, and Leadership.

All of our Eagles with perfect attendance will be honored as well! Please join us in the Ellis Auditorium to celebrate our Ellis Eagles. Contact your child's classroom teacher to find out if they are receiving an award.

⭐ CMAS Testing: Keep Up the Great Work!

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have been working hard on their CMAS Assessments the past two weeks and have remained incredibly focused and engaged! A huge thank you to our families for your support in getting students ready to do their best!

👀 Eye Exams & Glasses Coming to Ellis!

Eye Love Care is bringing a full-service optometry clinic to our school on April 23-24 offering comprehensive eye exams and eyewear (if needed) to all students.

Why participate?

Even if your child has already seen an eye doctor this year, they can still enroll.
If glasses are lost or broken, Eye Love Care will replace them up to two times through the school regardless of insurance.
Students can choose from over 150 stylish frames, with help from experienced staff to find the perfect fit.
Glasses are delivered directly to the school with an optician for proper fitting—no extra appointments needed.
Each student receives a folder with the optometrist’s report and, if applicable, a copy of their prescription.

Cost and Insurance information:

We accept Medicaid, which covers eye exams and glasses for patients 20 years and younger with no out of pocket costs.
If your child has commercial insurance, co-pays may apply if assessed by the insurance company.
Please reach out if you have specific coverage questions. No student will be denied care due to inability to pay.
