Dear DPS Employees,
As part of our ongoing commitment to your safety and preparedness, we are reaching out to stress the importance of keeping your Emergency Contact Information and Personal Contact Information up to date.
Why Emergency Contact Information Is Critical:
In the event of an emergency, it’s essential that we have accurate and current contact details for someone who can be reached on your behalf. This ensures your loved ones are promptly informed and can take necessary action if needed.
Why Personal Contact Information Is Important:
Personal Contact Information allows us to notify you during emergencies, provide winter delay information, and deliver critical communications such as tax documents.
Action Required:
Add Emergency Contact Information: This is imperative. We need this information in the system to ensure we can respond effectively in an emergency.
How to Update Your Emergency Contact Information:
Log in to Employee Space - Use this guide to add or update your emergency contact details.
Once signed in, click Family and Emergency Contacts on the left side Quick Actions menu.
Select the (+) option at the top right of your screen to add a new emergency contact.
If a contact is already listed who should be your emergency contact, simply select their name to update the information on file and designate them as not just a contact, but as your emergency contact.
Review and Update Personal Contact Information: Verify your details and make updates if needed.
Log in to Employee Space.
Once signed in, click the Personal Information Icon.
Select the Contact Info tile.
Click the pencil icon next to any information that needs to be updated.
Important Considerations:
This is a separate request from the one sent to DPS families regarding the update of their student's emergency contact information. This is an employee-specific request and is imperative to act on.
Oracle is a cloud-based system that regularly undergoes updates to improve functionality. As part of this ongoing enhancement, system processes — including the process for entering emergency contacts — may change. We will provide timely updates and clear instructions to assist you in navigating any new processes.
If you need assistance or have questions, please contact HR Connect at 720-423-3900 (option 1) or HRHelp@dpsk12.net.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this critical matter and for helping us maintain a safe and well-prepared work environment.
Best regards,
Edwin Hudson
