Live N Learn is an international non-profit centered on making intercultural connections. Live N Learn is coordinating with 15 teenagers from Spain to come to Denver from June 26th-23rd. Host families are needed to help these students experience American family life. Spanish students will be matched with Denver students based on age, gender, and interests and can host for 1-4 weeks. Both the Spanish student and the American student get to participate in two fun, free activities around Denver each week. Hosting is free and families only need to provide students with meals, a bed (can be in a shared bedroom) and a welcoming family environment! It's ok if your family has work and sports or shares homes between parents. Students can even travel with you! Please reach out to Erika at 609-902-6771 / erika@livenlearn.org, visit livenlearn.com/host for more information, or apply directly here.
Did you know that East High School is about to reach a monumental milestone? This September, we will celebrate East's 150th anniversary—and the 100th anniversary of our beautiful building! It's a momentous occasion, and we’re excited to celebrate all things East High School.
From now until Homecoming, we’ll be honoring our incredible history and supporting East’s bright future—and we want you to be a part of it! To kick off the 150th celebration, we’ve created a dedicated website where you can find all the details about our upcoming activities.
Visit our 150th Anniversary Website to stay updated on news and sign up for emails about the celebration. Make sure to follow us on Social Media as well!
A huge thank you to our 150th Celebration Chairs, Matthew Fulford (Teacher) and Marcia Goldstein (Class of 1969), and to the entire committee for their dedication in making this celebration possible.
Please check out our website: https://eastangelfoundation.org/support/ehs-150th-anniversary/#the-celebration and share it with the community—let’s make this a year to remember!
