Counseling Connections

Progress Report Email:

On November 19th the counseling team will pull a grade report from schoology. We will send an email home to each student who has a D or an F in one or more courses. The purpose is to collaborate and connect with parents about supporting their student’s academic success. We will share academic resources and opportunities,  as well as steps to connect with your student’s teachers.

College Night Presentations:

If you were not able to attend the 9/10 or 11th Grade College Night, the presentations are linked below. If you have any follow up questions, please reach out to your student’s counselor or have your student schedule a meeting. Find the slides here!

Junior and Senior ICAP:

Last week, the counseling department completed ICAP lessons (Individualized Career and Academic Plan) with each 11th and 12th grade student. In this lesson, we talked to your student about graduation requirements, post-secondary planning, and budgeting/financial aid. A complete ICAP is a graduation requirement so please connect with your student about their plan which can be found on their student portal under ‘myicap’.
