Student Information

Our Students Demand Action club is making an impact! On October 21st, they will be hosting a Legislative Summit at Cherry Creek High School from 6-8 PM.

This important event will bring together students, legislators, and community members to discuss critical issues surrounding gun violence prevention and safety in our schools and communities. The summit will provide a platform for students to engage directly with lawmakers and advocate for meaningful change.

All students, families, and community members are encouraged to attend and be part of this impactful conversation. Don’t miss this chance to make your voice heard and stand with our students as they lead the way toward a safer future.

Counseling Connections

Progress Report Email:

On October 22nd the counseling team will pull a grade report from schoology. We will send an email home to each student who has a D or an F in one or more courses. The purpose is to collaborate and connect with parents about supporting their student’s academic success. We will share academic resources and opportunities,  as well as steps to connect with your student’s teachers.

Concurrent Enrollment:  Taking classes at the local college!

We held a CE Spring 2025 interest meeting held on Thursday in the counseling office and we had over 30 students attend! If your student is interested but missed the meeting please take a look at the  CE Checklist and the slide show (on the top of the checklist) for next steps.  For addition questions, please have your student set up a meeting with Mrs. Vesceri or email at Lindsey_Vesceri@dpsk12.net

NCAA:

Are you a student-athlete dreaming of playing your sport at the NCAA level? Invest in your future and spend an hour on Sunday, Nov. 3, from 6 to 7 p.m. Eastern time, understanding the requirements and how to prepare for NCAA certification. Join NCAA Eligibility Center staff, who will walk you through what you need to do to compete at the NCAA Division I, II or III level. Staff will be answering questions live during the presentation, so come prepared to learn how to take your game to the next level! Click here to register.
