Practice 5K Map

Girls On The Run (GOTR) Practice 5K

Our GOTR team is halfway through their season and the practice 5K is just around the corner on October 22nd at 4:15 pm. The team begins at the school, runs to and around Cheesman Park and then back to the school, and we are going to need your help and support. We would love to have as many of you be there to cheer the girls on during our race, help manage the water station or be there to help cheer the girls on at the finish line. Our girls have been working very hard this season and this is an opportunity for them to see their hard work in action. The map above shows our running/skipping/walking/hopping route. The water station will be at the halfway point right near the park entrance to the Botanical Gardens. We would also love to have people cheering anywhere along the dirt path around the park.
If you can help or if you have questions, email Lane and Falon or Ms. Kelly!

Winter Enrichment

Winter ELCS Enrichment Classes at Dora Moore

Dora Moore's Winter Enrichment Catalog Page: https://dps.arux.app/courses/category/17/school-year-enrichments/dora-moore

Enrichment programs are a fantastic way for students to explore their interests and develop new skills through focused, single-subject activities. Offered by trusted DPS Community Partners, these programs provide exciting elective options at over 32 schools across the District. Enrichment activities run during the first hour after school, seamlessly complementing Discovery Link programming. Students can participate in both Enrichment and Discovery Link on the same day by registering for both programs!\

These enrichments are fee-based.

If your student qualifies for Free and/or Reduced Lunch and are interested in Enrichment programs please complete the scholarship interest form.  Do NOT register for a program you have submitted the interest form for.  Scholarship Interest Form linked here.

Please note if a program does not meet the minimum number of students as stated by the community partner offering the program, the class will be canceled.

Enrichment offerings are not a DPS program, activity or service. All are run by businesses

The deadline to withdraw from the winter session is Monday, November 25th by emailing us at enrichment_extendedlearning@dpsk12.org.
