Hello Ravens,
Thank you, all, for an awesome Wish Week! Thank you to those who always go above and beyond for these special events. We see you and appreciate all your support. Our silent auction site is open until Sunday, so be sure to check-it out and bid on some sweet prizes!
Don't forget to move your clocks forward one hour this Sunday! We lose one hour of sleep, but we get more sunlight as we leave school or work for the day!
In order to access scores from the practice PSAT/SAT, please click on this link and then enter your students' College Board account information. Students can also log in with the credentials on their testing ticket if they kept it. Have a great weekend. Stay warm. Go Ravens! Principal Goss |

Class of 2027...Planning Night |
If your student has taken a Concurrent Enrollment college course, you may receive a Tax form 1098T Form.
Although it is mandatory that the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) provide this form to all students, CCCS and colleges are not allowed to offer tax or legal advice to students. Specifically, this form is informational only and should not be considered as tax opinion or advice. It serves to alert students that they may be eligible for federal income tax education credit such as the Lifetime Learning Credit and the Hope Credit as part of their federal income tax return.
Parents and students should be referred to their tax consultant to determine if and how to utilize this form in the preparation and submission of their taxes.
Per IRS regulations, all students, including dual enrolled/concurrent students, are issued a 1098T tax information form each year a student attends/participates in higher learning education credit bearing courses. The college is required to report all eligible payments made to the college for the tax year that is received from all sources. This includes payments made by the K-12 schools to the college for the student's college costs. If the taxpayer paid any college costs out of pocket for the tax year, the taxpayer can use their receipts to claim any eligible educational credit on tax forms. The 1098T is simply an information form and is not required to be used for tax purposes. If the taxpayer did not pay out of pocket for college costs, the taxpayer would not use the form for claiming education credits. IRS publication 970 is available online for explanation of education tax credits.
Please refer to the 1098-T FAQ provided by CCCS, which outlines everything there is to know about this form: https://cdn.cccs.edu/students/1098-T%20FAQ.pdf |
