Hello Ravens, 

We hope you had a great week. Next week is Wellness Week, and we’re reminded to focus on taking care of ourselves and each other. See more details below for daily activities. Shout out to La Raza for their hard work all and great assembly celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

Next week we will host our annual trick or treat street on Wednesday 10/29 5-7pm. You can enter through the main school doors. The entry is $3 or Free is you bring in hygine products for giving grocery or a book to help support rising chicks.

Also coming up next week we will play Denver East in football on Thursday 10/30 at 5:30pm. We are once again on the AWAY side. Please make sure you have your IDs ready to go. There will be NO BAGS allowed at all city. Please leave your bags in the car or at home.
Athletics stickers will be accepted. If you do not have an atheltics sticker, you can buy your tickets online or at the door. Remember it is NEON themed. The first 100 students will receive free foam sticks or a pair of light up glasses. After that, you can purchase them for $1. We cant wait to see that Raven pride!

Healthy Kids Survey

The Healthy Kids Colorado Survey (HKCS) will be given to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students during Seminar on November 6th. Questions will take one class period to complete. Responses to the survey are anonymous and serve to inform the state on programs and policies that help youth thrive.

Students are not required to take the survey. To opt your student out of taking the survey, please contact Natalie Blake by November 3rd. If you wish to give your child permission to participate, no action is needed at this time.

Giving Grocery

The Denver South Giving Grocery provides FREE, fresh, and healthy groceries, including meat, eggs, milk, produce, and bread, to South students every Thursday. There is no need to sign up in advance. All students may just come to Room 141A after school on a Thursday. Check out our website or follow us on Instagram for more information.
